The beauty in real life is undeniable, but fleeting and it is impossible to re-live it. This is why we feel it’s so important for a photographer to capture people when they are submerged in the moment. This is the most enjoyable part of our work.
Johann Sebastian Bach once told his student: "There is nothing easier than playing organ: you just have to hit the right keys at the right moments". The same principle applies to photography, however just as with the organ, this is easier said than done.

After stressful preparations and a beautiful ceremony, the guests start lining up at the buffet tables. Amongst the crowds, the couple of the day is finally left to themselves for a few moments. Nobody is watching, and the stress and anxiety of the ceremony fades as they look into each others’ eyes. These are the moments of true beauty we strive to capture for you forever.

No doubt wedding is a great time for portraits. Sometimes the lines between staged and spontaneous photography blur a little. Something in these figures reminded me of a Japanese print, and when they looked at each other as a windsurfer entered the picture, I knew it was time to push the button.

We wanted to do some portraits of the bride when an unexpected gust of wind turned her into an enigmatic character from a gothic movie. I pushed the button even though the official session had not yet begun.

Formal portrait. We do as many formal group portraits as our clients want. However it's good idea not to spend too much time doing this. Wedding is an extraordinary event. So many beautiful real life moments are waiting to be captured!
